Quick Policy Summary;
Applies to online orders and in-showroom purchases

Magic tricks, books, and instructional media are not refundable once opened (the secret is the product).

Eligible returns must be unused/unopened and requested within 14 days.

Approved returns are issued as store credit, minus a 25% restocking fee and any shipping charges.

Final sale: digital media (PDFs/downloads/streaming), VHS/DVDs, clearance/discounted items, and anything marked Used / As-Is.

Defective items: we replace manufacturing defects with the same item (when available).

At Magic Methods, we want you to love what you buy. At the same time, magic products are a little different than toaster ovens—because once the method is learned, the value has been delivered.

Magic Tricks & Secrets: No Refunds on Opened “Method” Items
Every magic trick relies on a secret method. Once that secret has been revealed, the product has provided its core value. For that reason, we do not offer refunds or exchanges on:

Magic tricks/effects (once opened/used)

Books and printed instructions (once opened)
-
Videos / instructional media (once opened or accessed)
We strongly recommend knowing what you’re purchasing. If you’re unsure, contact us before ordering and we’ll steer you in the right direction.
Defective Products;
If an item is defective due to a manufacturing issue, we will replace it with the same item (when available).
If you believe something is defective, contact us and we’ll help troubleshoot and determine the best solution.

Exchanges & Returns; (Eligible Items Only)
We want you to be 100% satisfied. If you need to exchange all or part of your order, we can help—as long as the item is eligible for return and meets the conditions below.
Time Limit;

Exchanges/returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery (or within 14 days of purchase for showroom orders).
Item Condition;
Eligible items must be:

Unused and unopened
-
In original condition

With any original seals/shrink wrap intact (example: DVDs or books must still be sealed)
Restocking Fee;

A 25% restocking fee applies to all approved returns.
Return Shipping;

Return shipping is your responsibility, unless the return is due to our error.

Contact us first before returning anything so we can approve the return and give instructions.
Refund Method: Store Credit
Approved returns of eligible items will be issued as store credit, minus:

the 25% restocking fee, and
-
any shipping charges (original shipping and return shipping)
Final Sale / Non-Returnable Items;
The following are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

Digital media (streaming content, PDFs, downloads)

VHS video tapes

Special order items, on sale and/or discounted items

Items marked “Used” (are sold AS IS)

Any item marked on the website or in the showroom as non-returnable
Purchases Made From Other Dealers or Sellers;
We can only accept returns for items purchased directly from Magic Methods (online or in our showroom).
If you purchased an item from another magic shop, dealer, distributor, or marketplace seller, please contact that sellerfor returns/exchanges. If there is a verified manufacturing defect, they may contact us if needed.
